Description

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Technician to join their manufacturing team. This role is critical to ensuring our products meet rigorous quality standards and exceed customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and a passion for continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: -Perform in-process and final inspections of lawnmower components and assemblies -Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify product specifications -Document and report non-conformances; assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions -Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment -Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to uphold ISO and internal standards -Support audits and quality system improvements -Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations Qualifications: -Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment -Strong understanding of quality control principles and inspection techniques -Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems -Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications -Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality documentation systems -Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Must: Basic math and measurement expereince Blueprint reading - not just a yes/no, need details to ensure they can and have read a blueprint Can problem solve and diagnose problems Have good communication skills and be able to work with other departments to reduce waste Plus: CMM experience PPAP/other quality certifications Quality methodologies - SPC, 8D, 5 whys, etc... Any knowledge is an added bonus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
