    Job Description

    The Construction Project Manager will own, develop, and direct all activities vital to completing profitable and timely construction projects.

    Responsibilities

    + Write subcontracts for Electrical, Mechanical, and Architectural subcontractors.

    + Create invoices using any invoicing software to bill project owners.

    + Conceptualize and create budgets for projects ranging from $40-$50 million.

    + Work alongside the estimating team to process change orders and review their work.

    + Manage project schedules in collaboration with the superintendent.

    + Oversee budget management to ensure financial efficiency.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in construction project management.

    + Proficiency in conceptualizing and managing project budgets.

    + Ability to write subcontracts.

    + Experience with large multifamily projects valued at $50 million.

    + Proficiency in project management, estimation, and blueprint reading.

    + Familiarity with MS Office Suite, Bluebeam, and MS Project.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Structural Engineering, or equivalent field experience.

    + 5+ years of experience in construction project management.

    + Preferred experience with relevant project management methodologies.

    Work Environment

    The first few months will be spent in preconstruction at the office in NE Portland. Following this, you will be onsite at a $50 million multifamily project in Hillsboro. The company is a medium-sized, non-union general contractor with a family feel and a progressive, dynamic team.     This is a Permanent position based out of PORTLAND, Oregon.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
