• Controls Technician

    Actalent (Athens, AL)


    + Perform installation, service, and repair of manufacturing equipment.

    + Troubleshoot and provide technical expertise on electrical/mechanical equipment and control systems.

    + Manage assigned and developmental engineering projects and provide plant maintenance support.

    + Conduct advanced repairs and adjustments to mechanical and electrical devices.

    + Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.

    + Work on equipment involving mechanical and hydraulic brake and clutch systems.

    + Install, repair, and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

    + Mechanical/electrical aptitude and knowledge of machine components, electronic circuits, and pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

    + Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.

    + Ability to update electrical schematics using AutoCAD software.

    + Skill in using a PLC to troubleshoot machine issues and improve machine performance.

    + Capability to perform electrical and mechanical preventative maintenance on facility equipment.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $34.00/hr.
