    The Role at a glance:

    We are looking to add an experienced Regional Operations Director to join our Trio Community Meals team. The role of the Regional Operations Director is responsible for the coordination and delivery of strategic business projects to help the organization improve efficiency, quality, food safety, employee safety, customer service, and all other operational functions. This is accomplished by developing and enforcing company policies and employee training. We are seeking a candidate in the Greater Boston Area. This role will be approximately 70% travel and will support and oversee units in MA, VT, CT, NY, OH, KY and MI.

    What you'll be doing:

    + Working closely with senior management to establish strategic objectives and programs.

    + Improving operational processes and performance, recommending solutions to maximize efficiency and productivity.

    + Developing, implementing and supporting day-to-day operational systems and processes that provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for our key initiatives.

    + Upholding organization policies and standards.

    + Developing training materials and facilitating training to support those standards.

    + Developing standard operating procedures to ensure consistent workflows are in place.

    The Regional Director of Operations will play a key role to lead food safety activities for the division which include:

    + Developing food safety plans (Hazard Analysis, HACCP Plans, etc.)

    + Ensuring Good Manufacturing Processes are in place.

    + Conducting random unit audits.

    + Collecting and analyzing all 3rd party and health department audits to monitor corrective action.

    + Acting as a liaison with the corporate food safety department.

    + Responding to and investigate all quality related concerns.

    + Facilitating food safety training as needed.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + B.S. Degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field; or A.A. Degree plus four years of directly related experience preferred

    + Five to eight years of direct foodservice operational management experience with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control

    + Strong knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation

    + Previous P&L accountability or contract-managed service experience is desirable

    + Strong supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills

    + Strong, polished communication skills, both written and verbal

    + Ability to travel up to 70%

    + Ability to communicate on various levels to include management, client, customer and associate levels

    + Excellent financial, budgetary, accounting and computational skills

    + Proficient computer skills to include; various computer programs, Microsoft Office programs, e-mail and the Internet

    + ServSafe® Certified

    Compensation:

    + Up to $140k/yr. dependent on experience, plus 35% bonus potential.
