    Description

    General/broad overview of the role:

    • Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.

    • Sort and distribute incoming mail.

    • Process P.O. matching invoices, as applicable- they will be processing 150-200 invoices weekly

    • Match invoices to checks, obtain all signatures for checks and distribute checks accordingly.

    • Respond to all vendor inquiries. - most via email but some vendors do call in

    • Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies - reconciliations - month end

    • Accrual Accounting

    • Assist in month end closing- they will be helping with Full Cycle month end close. Month end close usually takes about 5 days

    • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.

    • Assist with other projects as needed

    • Excel skills- v lookups and sum ifs

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
