Requirements Management Engineer
Onsite | Bellevue, Washington
Contract one year with possible extension
$50 – $80/hour PTO and Holidays and Medical insurance stipend
System One is seeking a Requirements Management Engineer to support advanced nuclear reactor projects. This role reports to the Manager of Natrium Engineering Processes and focuses on the integrated design of plant systems, structures, and facility analysis. You will work under the direction of the Requirements Management Lead and collaborate with engineers across systems, components, and analysis areas (e.g., safety analysis, heat transport).
Responsibilities
+ Develop and implement requirements management processes, procedures, and tools to support design work.
+ Support external vendors in the development and implementation of plant, system, and component requirements.
+ Collaborate with design teams to maintain requirement sets across plant, system, and component levels.
+ Facilitate implementation of a systems approach to requirements management across design stages.
+ Identify and implement improvements to processes and toolsets for greater efficiency.
+ Inspect requirement product quality, enforce adherence to standards, and provide corrective feedback.
+ Develop and present training on requirements management processes and tools.
+ Support licensing activities tied to Safety Analysis Reports and Quality Assurance Programs.
+ Ensure compliance with all Quality Assurance program requirements.
Key Qualifications
+ B.S. in Engineering or related discipline + 5+ years’ direct experience.
+ Demonstrated experience in requirements management within industrial, complex, and regulated environments (preferred).
+ Knowledge of nuclear (or equivalent) quality programs and configuration management principles (highly desired).
+ Systems Engineering experience and process knowledge (highly desired).
+ Familiarity with ASME NQA-1 or ISO 9001 quality standards.
+ Excellent technical writing, communication, and presentation skills.
+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to technical excellence.
+ Self-starter with proven ability to lead and coordinate design team efforts.
+ High degree of integrity, openness, and teamwork mindset.
