You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in a program office within the Program Executive Office for Air Anti-Submarine Warfare, Assault & Special Mission Programs (PEO(A)). Responsibilities You will serve as senior advisor and liaison on financial management policies, providing guidance on budget, accounting, and fiscal compliance. You will lead and support planning, execution, and evaluation of financial operations across major programs, ensuring alignment with mission priorities. You will analyze and report on program execution, funding variances, and audit findings; recommend corrective actions and viable alternatives. You will develop and communicate financial data, reports, and tools to inform leadership decisions and ensure integrity of appropriated funds. You will track and certify commitments, obligations, and expenditures in accordance with budget plans, fiscal law, and internal control requirements. You will coordinate financial planning for acquisition milestones, program reviews, and external reporting (e.g., FMB, GAO, DoDIG). Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Directing and/or performing continuing program execution review, analysis and appraisal of the major operating and support programs within the organization. 2) Coordinating the development and reporting of cost/performance information in support of mission tasks for the organization. 3) Providing interpretive and analytical advice on financial transactions and program execution; developing format and content to provide managers with various listing, reports, and data relative to status of funds and the propriety of obligations. 4) Promulgating approved financial management policies within the organization based on DON policy and developing and issuing implementing procedures.
