Summary You will serve as an IT Cybersecurity Specialist (INFOSEC) in the Cyber Department of NAWCTSD ORLANDO. Responsibilities You will lead and guide other Cybersecurity personnel within the Integrated Product Teams/Labs to ensure information systems or platform information technology systems are in compliance with DoD/Navy Cybersecurity policies and instructions. You will ensure cybersecurity requirements are fully integrated into all phases of the acquisition, upgrade, or modification programs, including initial design, development, testing, fielding, and operation/sustainment. You will provide customers with information/analytical support/guidance on cybersecurity requirements for proposed IT acquisitions from earliest stages of development, through the acquisition milestone process and follow-on support. You will engage actively with project staff to review/provide critical comments/constructive recommendations on system design documentation. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DS-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Providing leadership to Cybersecurity personnel within the Labs and/or Integrated Product Team (IPT); 2) Planning and formulating concepts, policy, techniques and procedures, instructions, certifications, standards, and criteria appropriate to the effective implementation and management of the Cybersecurity program; 3) Ensuring Cybersecurity requirements are fully integrated into all phases of the acquisition, upgrade, or modification programs, including initial design, development, testing, fielding, and operation/sustainment; 4) Providing customers with information/analytical support/guidance on Cybersecurity requirements; and 5) Planning and conducting Cybersecurity continuous monitoring and analysis to ensure systems maintain acceptable level of cybersecurity posture. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
