Summary You will serve as the Chief of Staff located in the office of the Program Executive Officer for Tactical Aircraft Programs (PEO(T)). Resumes are restricted to no more than 2 pages. Responsibilities As the Chief of Staff for the Program Executive Officer for Tactical Aircraft Programs (PEO(T)), you will: Support the PEO and Deputy PEO on near-, mid-, and long-term matters across the entire PEO(T) portfolio. Monitor completion of action items and tasking, identifying accomplishments, deficiencies, and areas requiring corrective action. Analyze needs and synthesize requirements to support program initiatives, acquisition planning, and strategy development. Direct the development of comprehensive program plans to ensure fulfillment of requirements, fiscal adequacy, and progress toward established goals. Identify, justify, and defend resource requirements (funding, manpower, facilities, etc.) for life-cycle management of assigned programs. Evaluate the impact of changes to budgets, objectives, strategies, or technical capabilities and recommend adjustments as necessary. Manage the PEO(T) military manpower program, ensuring efficient utilization of resources, compliance with objectives, and support for augmentation requirements. Serve as liaison with ASN(RDA)/DASN offices, NAVAIR functional and corporate organizations, program managers, deputies, and IPT leads to coordinate and resolve matters across acquisition lifecycles and organizational entities. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12/13) or pay band (NH-03)in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: Coordinating and integrating acquisition, management, and technical efforts across multiple programs or portfolios in terms of cost, schedule, performance, and risk. Leading cross-functional or cross-organizational teams (e.g., program offices, IPTs, competency areas, or headquarters staff) to achieve program and organizational objectives. Developing and synthesizing requirements from multiple functional areas (engineering, logistics, budget, configuration management, foreign military sales, etc.) into comprehensive plans or strategies that support acquisition programs. Serving as a liaison with senior leadership, functional stakeholders, and external organizations to ensure program and portfolio needs are addressed and goals are achieved.
