    Description

    seeking an experienced Service Desk Engineer with a minimum of three years of direct end-user support experience to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and demonstrate proficiency in customer service and a wide range of enterprise technologies.

    Key Responsibilities:

    -Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users via phone, email, and remote assistance.

     

    -Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Cisco AnyConnect VPN, Trellix endpoint protection, Office 365, and Windows 11.

     

    -Support and troubleshoot new computer setups (Windows 11), including device imaging.

     

    -Maintain accurate documentation of technical procedures and solutions.

     

    -Record and schedule users for computer refreshes with strong organizational and communication skills.

     

    -Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests.

     

    -Participate in the implementation of new systems and technologies to enhance IT infrastructure.

    Preferred Technical Skills:

    -Traditional PC hardware support

     

    -Trellix endpoint protection

     

    -Jira Service Management, Confluence, ServiceNow

     

    -Microsoft Active Directory User Management

     

    -Microsoft In-Tune Admin Center

     

    -Microsoft SharePoint administration

     

    -Office 365

     

    -Windows 11

     

    -Familiarity with SCCM (preferred but not required)

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related technical field.

     

    *An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.*

     

    -Experience: Minimum of 3 years in direct end-user support.

     

    -Excellent communication and customer service skills.

     

    -Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

     

    This is a HYBRID role requiring two days onsite in Columbus, OH. Candidates must be local to the Columbus area. Please include candidate location on the resume.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
