    Job Description:

    This position is responsible for supervising the Retail Systems Team (RST) and Depot Team across all geographic areas where SpartanNash operates retail stores. These teams are tasked with maintaining in-store IT hardware and systems, as well as supporting operations through inventory management and parts supply. The supervisor ensures both teams are properly trained, well-equipped, and consistently deliver professional, high-quality service to our retail customers. Additionally, the supervisor oversees all supplies, parts, and inventory required to support the team and its projects.

    Here’s what you’ll do:

    + Manage & coordinate your teams schedules based on service calls, project workloads, & PTO requests, both scheduled & un-scheduled.

    + Oversee and maintain accurate tracking of all retail hardware inventory located in area, including equipment used in labs and training environments.

    + Lead the end-to-end process for procurement, staging, deployment, and disposal of hardware for retail store projects and ongoing support needs

    + Source and order supplies at the best value, balancing cost-effectiveness with quality and reliability.

    + Manage remodel & upgrades projects within your area of responsibility, which includes assigning resources, site visits, determining equipment needs based off store drawings & putting a budget together for the projects of hardware needs & resource hours.

    + Set strategic direction and manage team goals, performance, and budget in alignment with organizational objectives.

    + Coach, mentor, and develop team members and emerging leaders to enhance service quality and operational effectiveness.

    + Support daily operations by facilitating training, troubleshooting field issues, and handling administrative tasks like timecard approvals.

    Here’s what you’ll need:

    + Bachelor's Degree (Required) in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

    + Five years retail Information Technology/applications support and/ or development experience.

    + Strong written and verbal communications skills.

    + Demonstrated expertise within assigned area of discipline including analysis, troubleshooting, liaison with other teams, finding solutions to problems that require creative thinking.

    + Must be able to develop effective working relationships with associates at various levels of the organization and with external customers/vendors.

    + Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.

    + Demonstrated project management and effective coaching, mentoring and leadership skills.

    + Ability to organize and prioritize workload, supervise multiple concurrent projects and teams, and lead through influence and delegation.

    + Ability to travel up to 20% as needed.
