    Job Description

    Practice Manager – Finger Lakes Health Podiatry

    Step into a leadership role that keeps our podiatry practice running strong while supporting a team dedicated to patient care across the Finger Lakes region! We’re looking for a Practice Manager to guide our podiatry office with organization, teamwork, and compassion.

    What You’ll Do

    As our Practice Manager, you’ll be the hub of our podiatry practice, ensuring that every step of the patient experience — from check-in to follow-up — runs smoothly. You will:

     

    + Lead and support our incredible team of LPNs, Medical Assistants, Medical Secretaries, and Physicians.

    + Coordinate day-to-day operations including scheduling, billing, and surgical support.

    + Act as the key liaison between patients, staff, and external partners.

    + Build efficient office systems that keep our podiatry practice on the right foot.

    + Manage budgets, resources, and staff development to ensure high-quality patient care.

     

    What We’re Looking For

     

    The right candidate is a motivated, organized leader who thrives in a clinical setting and has a passion for teamwork and patient care.

    Education & Certification

    + High school diploma required; BS in business or healthcare administration preferred.

    + BLS certification (through RQI).

    + Must complete an NYS-approved Podiatry Radiology Course within 6 months of hire.

    + Certification from a NYS-licensed Medical Assistant program preferred.

    Experience & Skills

    + 3–5 years in physician practice operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.

    + Scheduling experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    + Strong communicator and multitasker with proven organizational skills.

    + Preferred: Podiatry or surgical specialty experience, knowledge of billing, budgeting, Workers’ Compensation regulations, and Medent EMR.

    Other Must-Haves

    + Ability to work independently while leading a team.

    + Knowledge of CPT & ICD-10 coding, surgical scheduling, and outpatient registration.

    + A strong sense of professionalism and customer service.

    Salary Range based off of experience: $61,079.00-$81,200.00
