    **Compensation:** $30.00 / hour

    **Shift Differential:** 6%-8% of base hourly rate paid for applicable hours worked

    **Sign on Bonus:** $1000 (incremental payouts)

    **Location:** Saratoga Springs, NY

    **Shift:** 5:00pm - 5:00am, Weds - Fri every other Sat

     

    Ability to work holidays and weekends per business needs

    Responsibilities

    + Operate forklift approximately 75% of the time to efficiently carry out shipping and receiving activities in a dynamic environment.

    + Safely operate a yard truck to accurately and efficiently transport trailers from the yard to the shipping door for customer shipments

    + Perform in the role of Dock Coordinator as needed

    + Managing minute-to-minute shipping / receiving activities

    + Utilize PC, SAP, Communication, and time management skills to prioritize and organize workload, while emphasizing forklift operation as a primary responsibility

    + Drive operation results

    + Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager

    Qualifications

    + Must be 21 years of age or older (DOT requirement)

    + Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

    + Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR): Only one license held, no DUI/DWI, refusal to test, leaving the scene of an accident, driving a commercial vehicle without a CDL, or at-fault fatal accidents, driving-related suspensions, revocations, or cancellations; disqualifying offenses; or reckless driving incidents

    + Prior forklift or heavy equipment experience preferred with prior experience in manufacturing desired

    + Exposure to warehouse inventory scanners and basic equipment maintenance preferred

    + Ability to work self-directed — accomplish daily workload with minimal supervision

    + Solid communication and interpersonal skills with experience working in a team-based environment

    + Ability to interact with various internal contacts to manage the flow of work

    + Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft applications, SAP experience a plus

    + Focus on safe work practices and high quality while executing duties with a sense of urgency

    + Ability to move/handle 50lbs and get up and down a yard truck/forklift frequently throughout the day

    + Able to sit for long periods of time and drive backwards as needed
