• Electrical Design Engineer (PE)

    We have an outstanding career opportunity for anElectrical Design Engineer (PE)to join a leading Company located in theChattanooga, TNsurrounding area.

    Responsibilities :

    + Communicate effectively with project team members and with clients

    + Prepar ation of drawings, calculations, sketches, and specifications

    + Complete short circuit studies, fault calculations, and other electrical st udies

    + Site field trips to existing facilities to gather operating data and equipment information

    + Use software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office, and other software to perform engineering tasks and develop deliverables

    + Must possess organizational skills with emphasis on meeting customer deadlines

    + Must work well with a group, possess good communication, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, diverse environment

    + Must have working knowledge of codes and standards, including the National Electrical Code

    + Self-motivated and self-managed to learn about technology and improve processes

    Basic Hiring Criteria :

    + BS or MS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program

    + Minimum 10 years of Electrical Engineering experience - primarily Commercial & Industrial Construction background

    + PE license required

    + Ability to obtain NCEES registration

    + Knowledge of NEC codes, electrical standards, AutoCAD/Revit/electrical design software
