    Job Description

    SUMMARYThe Water Features Technician is responsible for maintenance and repair of resort water features. Job duties include although are not limited to: maintenance and repairs of pools and spas and associated electro-mechanical and water hydraulic systems. Must be knowledgeable in pool/spa water chemistry, OSHA standards for chemical use and local health regulations for pools/spas. All positions may perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties based on business needs.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    + High school or equivalent education required, technical degree preferred.

    + One to two years’ experience in a luxury hotel preferred

    + Two to three years’ experience in maintenance

    + Must be CPO certified.

    + Strong emphasis in customer service

    + Exceptional guest recovery skills

    + Must possess a positive attitude

    + Must be willing to participate in a learning environment

    + Must integrate company values throughout all interactions

    + Must be dependable and available to work within the resort on weekends, nights and/or holidays based on business demands

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    Position requires walking and standing most of the working day; must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours in length. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks. Requires manual dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, and climbing.
