    _Mechanical Design Engineer II for Transnorm Systems Inc. in Richardson, TX_

    Responsibilities** **_:_

    + Responsible for technical documentation, part definition and support, drawing, component and system analysis; engineering assistance; writing specifications, cost estimation, and 3D modeling.

    + Generate new CADs and drawings for customer inquiries and new parts.

    + Design and develop new ideas of value engineering and component engineering for the purpose of saving costs.

    + Technical support for customers.

    + Responsible for design and implementation of mechanical parts, subassemblies, and product improvements.

    YOU MUST HAVE:

    + Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field, and 2 years of manufacturing design experience.

    + Full term of experience must include: CAD modelling; Machining Manufacturing; Lean principle project implementation; design experience; Microsoft Office; technical writing; measurement; testing; scientific principles of problem solving; fundamental physics; and governing principles background.

    + Must have 1 year of experience in sheet metal and textile Manufacturing.

    + Telecommuting permitted up to three (3) times per week.

    + Location: Richardson, TX

    + 40 hours/week
