    Special Education Teacher | $45/hr | Full-Time | 4-Day Work Week | Tonopah, AZ | 2025–2026 School Year

    Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support students across PreK–12th grade at a school site in Tonopah, Arizona. This full-time, in-person role begins October 10, 2025, and runs for 36 weeks, offering $45/hour with a 4-day work week.

    Position Overview:

    + Location: Tonopah, AZ

    + Start Date: October 10, 2025

    + End Date: June 2026

    + Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week

    + Work Week: 4 days

    + Modality: In-person

    + Interview Format: Virtual

    + Pay Rate: $45/hour

    Caseload Details:

    + Grade level and classroom assignments discussed during interview

    + PreK–12th grade school setting

    + Collaborative team environment

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Provide specialized instruction and support for students with IEPs

    + Participate in planning and implementation of student programs

    + Offer tutorial assistance and consult with general education staff

    + Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)

    + Valid Arizona teaching certificate

    + One year of teaching experience (preferred)

    + State certification in Elementary, Secondary, or Special Teaching (preferred)

    + LBS1 endorsement (preferred)

    + CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
