Special Education Teacher | $48–$52/hr | Full-Time | K–8 Resource | Surprise, AZ | Oct 2025–May 2026

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support K–8 students in a resource setting in Surprise, Arizona. This full-time, in-person role begins October 6, 2025, and runs for 7 months, with specific grade levels to be discussed during the interview.

Position Overview:

+ Location: Surprise, AZ

+ Start Date: October 6, 2025

+ Duration: 7 months

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday

+ Hours: 40/week

+ Modality: In-person

+ Pay Rate: $48–$52/hour

Classroom Details:

+ Grade Levels: K–8

+ Setting: Resource

+ Caseload: To be determined

Key Responsibilities:

+ Provide specialized instruction and support for students with IEPs

+ Collaborate with general education and support staff

+ Participate in planning and implementation of student programs

+ Deliver tutorial assistance and consultation

Minimum Requirements:

+ Active Arizona Department of Education (ADE) Certification

+ Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)

+ One year of teaching experience (preferred)

+ LBS1 endorsement (preferred)

+ CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
