    Special Education Teacher | $58/hr or $2,526/week Travel | Full-Time | Eagle Point, OR | 2025–2026 School Year

    Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support middle school Life Skills students at White Mountain Middle School in Eagle Point, Oregon. This full-time role begins October 13, 2025, and runs through the 2025–2026 school year, offering $58/hour for local candidates or $2,526/week for travel.

    Position Overview:

    + Location: White Mountain Middle School, Eagle Point, OR

    + Start Date: October 13, 2025 (ASAP)

    + End Date: June 2026

    + Schedule: Monday–Friday, full-time

    + Hours/Week: 40 (paid lunch included)

    + Modality: In-person

    + Interview Format: Virtual with SPED team

    + Openings: 1

    Caseload & Responsibilities:

    + Middle school Life Skills classroom

    + Caseload includes students with varying needs

    + Supported by 3 instructional assistants (IAs)

    + Provide specialized instruction, tutorial support, and collaborate with general education staff

    + Participate in planning and implementation of IEPs

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)

    + Valid Oregon SPED license or ability to obtain

    + One year of teaching experience (preferred)

    + State certification in Elementary, Secondary, or Special Teaching (preferred)

    + LBS1 endorsement (preferred)

    + CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
