Support Students, Empower Growth: Special Education Support Staff

School Year: 2025–2026

Start Date: Immediate

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 32.5–35 hours/week

Compensation: Up to $25/hour

Amergis Educational Staffing is partnering with schools in the Bristol County area to hire Special Education Support Staff—dedicated professionals who provide essential support to students navigating emotional and behavioral challenges.

Your Impact:

+ Provide individualized and small group support to students with emotional and behavioral needs

+ Assist in implementing behavior intervention plans and academic activities

+ Monitor and document student progress and behavior

+ Collaborate with teachers and support staff to foster a safe, inclusive learning environment

+ Flexibly support other classrooms as needed

What You Bring:

+ Experience working with students with behavioral or high-needs challenges

+ Strong skills in de-escalation and behavior tracking

+ Calm, patient, and adaptable approach in dynamic school settings

+ Familiarity with data collection tools and behavior monitoring systems

Minimum Requirements:

+ High School Diploma or equivalent

+ Experience in special education or behavioral support

+ CPR certification (if applicable)

+ TB test or chest x-ray (if applicable)

+ Health clearance (as required)

+ Must be at least 18 years old and meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
