Special Education Teacher – Intense Intervention

Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Special Education Teacher with an Intense Intervention license to support students with significant academic and behavioral needs in a school-based setting. This role is ideal for educators who are passionate about making a meaningful impact and providing individualized support to help students thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Provide direct instruction to students with intense intervention needs

+ Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s goals

+ Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families

+ Utilize evidence-based strategies and data-driven instruction

+ Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring

+ Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Qualifications:

+ Valid Indiana teaching license with Intense Intervention endorsement

+ Experience working with students with moderate to severe disabilities preferred

+ Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

+ Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs
