About the Role:

Amergis is seeking experienced Med/Surg LTACH RNs to provide high-quality care in a long-term acute care setting. This role involves managing complex patients with ventilators, central lines, chest tubes, and other advanced therapies. Nurses must be confident in handling a 6:1 patient ratio and working in a fast-paced, high-volume unit.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process

+ Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in status

+ Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies accurately

+ Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and discharge planning

+ Document care plans, interventions, and outcomes

+ Provide a safe, respectful, and therapeutic environment for patients

+ Support professional practice in accordance with nursing standards, patient rights, and facility policies

Qualifications:

+ Active RN license in the state of practice

+ Minimum 2 years of acute hospital bedside experience required

+ Experience with ventilator management, central lines, chest tubes, heparin drips, blood transfusions, TPN, and ACLS

+ ACLS certification required prior to start

+ Current BLS certification

+ Compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

+ Strong communication skills and computer proficiency

+ Must be 18+ years old

+ Shift Cancellation Policy: 36-hour guarantee per week
