    Job Description Summary:

    Provide primary care, BLS and/or Advanced Life Support to include medical evaluation, treatment and stabilization of the critically ill and injured. This will require working directly with physicians and nursing staff to inform and receive patient information regarding the patient’s condition on arrival or prior to transporting.

    Performs primary job responsibilities listed for Paramedic to include response, patient assessment, vital signs, patient monitoring and diagnostics, patient moving and lifting, medication administration.

    Maintaining Equipment in proper working order

    Daily cleaning to include mandatory weekly disinfecting of ambulances/equipment and station.

    Report writing and documentation

    Minimum Qualifications:

    High School or GED (Required)BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association, EMTP - EMTP - National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians

    Familiar with all applicable traffic laws with regards to operation of an emergency vehicle.
