Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician to join our team! This role is crucial in supporting our mission of delivering high-quality products by ensuring compliance with industry standards and conducting essential laboratory analyses.

The typical hiring range for this role is $26.10 and is based on several factors inclduing but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In adtition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).

Key Responsibilities:

+ Perform sensory, physical, chemical, and / or instrumental evaluation of raw material, in process, or finished products following SOP and specifications.

+ Expedite evaluation process and final disposition and provide information to production.

+ Develop and maintain raw material and finished product specifications.

+ Trouble shoots quality problems in production.

+ Participate in the development of special processes to improve quality.

+ Generate data for Certificates of analysis.

+ Participate in test panels.

+ Maintain laboratory data, files, supplies, and calibrate equipment on a regular schedule as well as maintaining databases.

+ Work on the corrective actions of any customer complaints / issues.

+ Follows all quality, safety, and company protocols & procedures

Qualifications and Skills:

+ Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Biology, Micro-Biology, Organic Chemistry and/or Food Science preferred.

+ Knowledge and experience of GC/LC testing.

+ Knowledge and experience in a lab setting running chemistry tests.

+ Food industry experience is highly desirable.

+ Minimum 0-1 years of experience.

+ Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.

+ Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

+ Strong organizational skills for data collection and record-keeping.
