Converged Storage Engineer

On our team of experienced professionals, you'll use cutting-edge enterprise cloud platforms to support your clients as they modernize their IT infrastructure and meet their most challenging missions. We're looking for someone like you to help support national security.

You'll closely collaborate with fellow cloud architects and engineers spe cia lizing in AWS and NetApp to design, deploy, configure, and maintain cloud solution components. You'll have the chance to work within a DevOps framework to create and manage container apps and use products like Kubernetes to further the mission. Whether modernizing legacy computing platforms and applications or creating new ones from scratch, you'll have the latest tech and brightest teammates at your fingertips.

You Have:

+ 10+ years of experience in data and storage integration

+ Knowledge of NetApp tools, including OnCommand, Active IQ, and System Manager

+ Ability to implement SnapMirror, SnapVault, and SnapRestore technologies

+ Ability to develop statistical and operations research models to support business and technical objectives using scripting languages such as Python or R

+ Ability to design and implement APIs and ETL pipelines for large-scale data movement

+ Secret clearance

+ Bachelor's degree

+ DoD Information Assurance Techni cia n Level II Certification

Nice If You Have:

+ Experience with AWS cloud storage services such as S3, EBS, FSx, or Storage Gateway

+ CompTIA Storage+, NetApp Certified Data Administrator ( NCDA ) , NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer ( NCIE ) , or SNIA Certified Storage Networking Expert ( SCSN-E ) Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
