Our team-oriented Accounting Office is seeking a Staff Accountant. In this position your duties will include:

+ Month end bank reconciliation

+ Post and reconcile monthly finance reserve statements from lenders

+ Remit finance and insurance policies sold by the dealership

+ Refund any finance and insurance policy cancellations as requested by customers

+ Maintain all finance and insurance product account schedules

+ Assist in maintaining various other balance sheet account schedules

+ Handle all credit card disputes and return checks

+ Reconcile all dealer incentives

+ Assist with finalizing monthly financial statement

+ Maintain vehicle inventory schedules and floorplan reconciliations

+ Weekly customer receivables report

+ Assist with other accounting office personnel duties/training as needed

+ Assist with month end billing as needed

Qualifications:

+ Prior dealership accounting experience preferred

+ Experience using CDK is a plus.

+ Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.

+ Must be able to work extended hours at month-end

+ High School diploma or equivalent, bachelor's degree in Accounting is a plus
