    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled GenAI Software Engineer with deep expertise in end-to-end development of Generative AI-based applications. The ideal candidate will design and implement robust data pipelines capable of ingesting, cleaning, and transforming both structured and unstructured data from a wide range of sources. A strong emphasis on scalability, security, and compliance is essential, especially when working with sensitive datasets. This role involves building and optimizing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines by integrating vector databases, embeddings, and retrieval frameworks to enhance AI performance. The engineer will also develop secure and efficient APIs to expose GenAI capabilities to both internal and external applications. A passion for innovation is key, as the role requires rapid prototyping of proof-of-concepts (POCs) based on emerging AI trends. Additional responsibilities include maintaining CI/CD workflows and participating in code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    -5+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong foundation in building scalable backend systems and APIs.

     

    -2+ years of hands-on experience in developing Generative AI applications, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and integration with vector databases.

     

    -Proficiency in data engineering, with 3+ years of experience designing and implementing data pipelines for structured and unstructured data, ensuring security and compliance.

     

    -Experience with CI/CD workflows and code review practices, contributing to high-quality, maintainable code in collaborative engineering environments.
