    Job Description

    Insight Global's client is looking for a seasoned Fullstack React/Node.js Developer to join their fastest growing insurance client and lead their product team. This tech-enabled and data driven firm is rapidly expanding. In just 5 years they have amassed nearly 500 employees. Currently, this company is working on developing their core insurance platform. The candidate will collaborate with enterprise architects to ensure engineering solutions align with architectural principles and software development best practices. As a member of an agile team, they will work closely with testers and developers to deliver innovative, high-quality applications and services. Responsibilities include designing, coding, and debugging complex software, optimizing user and developer experiences, and contributing to product roadmaps. The role also involves managing engineering risks, supporting quality assurance efforts, and advising stakeholders on effective technical strategies. Ideal candidates will have full stack development experience, a passion for learning new technologies, and a strong understanding of Agile, DevSecOps, and CI/CD practices.

    Skills and Requirements

    -5+ years of experience as a Fullstack Developer (React and Node.js, with GraphQL for their API's)

     

    -Experience building serverless application components in Azure or AWS

     

    -SQL Server experience

     

    -Data/database modeling and design experience, test driven development, and automated testing

     

    -Prior experience working in an Agile environment

     

    -Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics -Snowflake or other relational databases

     

    -Jenkins

    -DevSecOps experience
