    A client in the Vancouver, Wa area is looking for an SRE Engineer to join their team. This position is a 6-month contract with possibility of hire. This position will be a hybrid role that will be fully onsite for the first 6 weeks then shift to a hybrid model. In this role we are looking for an SRE who has Data Dog, Cloud - Azure preferred, IAC – Terraform preferred, and Object-Oriented Programming experience. In this role 50-75% of your time starting out will be focused on Data Dog working with strong dashboarding, synthetics, monitoring, and observability.     Skills and Requirements

     

    3-4+ years of professional experience as an SRE Engineer or similar

     

    2+ years of professional experience with Monitoring/Observability with Data Dog: dashboarding experience, experience with synthetics in data dog

    2+ years of professional Cloud experience: Azure preferred, cloud monitoring experience

    1+ years of Professional Experience with Object Oriented Programming: .Net/C#, Java, Golang, React, Scale, Node.js or similar

     

    Experience in an Agile environment

     

    2+ years of professional experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC), Terraform preferred

     

    Scripting experience: Python, Bash, PowerShell or similar Azure DevOps experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines

     

    RUM: Real user monitoring experience in Data Dog

     

    Containerization with Docker, Docker Swarm, K8s

     

    Linux Server Administration
