Job Description
The Project Engineer plans and executes tasks related to the management of assets capital projects and expenses for all of operations. Performs recurring tasks in support of overall capex ownership, including coordinating asset acquisition process for plants and corporate operations functions. Facilitates movement of assets throughout the network through determination of network needs and knowledge of available assets. Manages the asset end of life process and documentation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Facilitates asset acquisition by generating purchase requisitions, receiving assets in financial system, and resolving invoice processing issues.
• Support capital budget management through current state spend analysis, and project budget tracking.
• Support annual capital budget process for plants with understanding of equipment purchase needs for growth and business maintenance based on capacity analysis and end of life planning and analysis.
• Maintain accurate capacity model for key value streams by plant.
• Coordinates and tracks the capital acquisition approval process and facilitates purchase of equipment for corporate operations functions and plants.
• Assis in the equipment movement process for the network of plants, including upkeep of surplus and consignment inventory lists, assisting plants with equipment procurement needs from internal sources, determining availability of equipment for projects, and disposition of all assets from plant closures/consolidations.
• Manage equipment end of life process, ensuring ongoing elimination of equipment storage in trailers and removal of equipment from network at end of usable life.
• Assist with management of vendors and real estate portfolio through set up of new vendors, coordination of leases and other documentation, assistance in security system badge access updates, and similar software-oriented tasks.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Pay Rate: 35-38/hr.

Skills and Requirements
Experience with the following: Smart Sheets, Excel, PowerApps, purchase requisitions, and asset management
Experience managing asset acquisitions and end of life
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Must be able to organize data inputs from several sources and analyze for conclusion
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Takes initiative and works with high degree of autonomy
Effectively handles multiple projects and works well under pressure
Consistently displays high integrity, sound judgement and discretion
Excels in a cross-functional team environment
Maintains confidential information
