Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking for a UX/UI Designer to join their growing product design team. This opportunity is ideal for a junior to mid-level designer who is passionate about creating intuitive, user-friendly digital experiences and has a strong foundation in design tools and principles. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset to help drive impactful product development.

Key Responsibilities:

Design wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to simplify complex tasks and data.

Conduct user research, develop personas, and define UX processes including task analysis and information architecture.

Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and QA to align design with business and user needs.

Contribute to and maintain design systems for consistency and efficiency.

Communicate design decisions clearly to cross-functional stakeholders.

Ensure accessibility compliance and adherence to UX best practices.

Compensation:

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Skills and Requirements

2+ years of UX/UI design experience with a responsive portfolio showcasing wireframes, prototypes, and product design.

Bachelor’s degree in Design or related field (or equivalent experience)

Proficiency in Figma; working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, XD).

Strong visual design fundamentals — typography, layout, color.

Experience with user-centered design, prototyping, and user research.

Familiarity with Agile workflows, including Jira and Confluence.

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.

Attention to detail and ownership of product quality.

Basic web knowledge including HTML, CSS, site layouts, and DNS. Experience balancing speed vs. quality in 0–1 product development.

Exposure to QA methodologies, black-box testing, or accessibility testing.
