    Job Description

    Insight Global is hiring for a CNC Machinist III. The CNC Machinist III is responsible for programming, set-ups, and machining. This candidate will be a contributor in finding the fastest and most efficient ways to more from CAD models to finished parts. They will be responsible for building models and prototypes using carious tools, CAM programming and operation of CNC equipment and manual machines. They also will be machining complex and high precision parts in metal, plastic, and carbon fiber. There will also be quality and inspection duties related to this role. The ideal candidate will come from 5+ years of experience running 3, 4, and 5 axis milling equipment, and have experience within these following areas: Multi axis Mill/Turn machines, Fanuc and Haas controllers, CAM software and CNC programming, CAD software and fixture design, and problem solving experience within the rapid prototyping environment.

    Shifts Available:

    1. Monday - Thursday 3pm - 1:30am (42 hours)

    2. Friday - Sunday 6am - 6pm (36 hours)

     

    This is a 6 month contract position with likelihood to extend or convert after 6 months! Insight Global offers full benefits while on contract including dental, health, vision and 401k. If you are interested, please apply right away!

    Pay Range: $34/hr-$42/hr

    Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - High School Diploma

     

    - 5+ years of experience within precision manufacturing and machining

     

    - 5+ years of experience running 3, 4, and 5 axis milling equipment

     

    - Experience operating Multi axis Mill/Turn machines

     

    - Experience with Fanuc and Haas controllers

     

    - Experience building out models within CAM software and machining parts with CNC programming

     

    - Strong experience in CAD software and fixture design - 5+ years of experience in a prototyping and production environment with advanced CNC

     

    machine tools

     

    - Experience in a short run production environment

     

    - Experience with Esprit, Mastercam
