    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Performance Engineer with 5–10 years of experience in both automated and manual performance testing across on-premises and cloud environments (preferably Google Cloud Platform). This role will be instrumental in shaping performance testing strategies, building scalable test suites, and driving distributed testing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively across offshore, nearshore, and onshore teams.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and define performance testing best practices across the organization.

    • Design and execute distributed performance tests in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

    • Build and maintain automated test suites for performance validation.

    • Evaluate and recommend performance testing tools and frameworks.

    • Collaborate cross-functionally with offshore, nearshore, and onshore teams to ensure alignment and execution of testing strategies.

    • Utilize tools such as NeoLoad, k6, and Locust to simulate and analyze system performance.

    • Develop and maintain Python scripts for unit and performance testing.

    • Provide detailed performance analysis and reporting to stakeholders.

    Skills and Requirements

    • 5-10 years of performance engineering experience with automated and manual testing to include on prem and in the cloud (preferably GCP

    • Will be responsible for providing direction on testing best practices

    • Will be responsible for working on distributed testing in GCP

    • Will be building test suites

    • Making recommendation for testing tools

    • Experience with performance testing tools such as Neoload, K6, and Locust

    • Python scripting for writing unit tests

    • Ability to effectively communicate across offshore, nearshore, and onshore teams Previous ecommerce experience
