    Job Description Summary

    In this role, you will be responsible for the overall design, documentation, maintenance, and translation of business needs into long-term architecture solutions for 3rd party data environments and frameworks within the STS cloud organization. Your main role will be to own the process of digesting billing data out of the cloud tools into a consumable format for our cloud consumers.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    In this role you will:

    + Participates in the data domain technical and business discussions relative to future architect direction.

    + Assists in the analysis, design and development of a roadmap, design pattern, and implementation based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.

    + Gathers and analyzes data and develops architectural requirements at project level.

    + Supports the development data and data delivery platforms that are service-oriented with reusable components that can be orchestrated together into different methods for different businesses.

    + Researches and evaluates emerging data technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities.

    + Coaches and mentors team members.

    Education Qualification

    + Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 4 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 7 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 9 years of professional experience

    + Minimum 3 years of professional experience in data engineering.

    + Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience

    Desired Characteristics:

    Technical Expertise:

    + Strong knowledge of SQL and database management

    + Proficiency in AWS services, including Glue, S3, Lambda, Athena, Quicksight

    + Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines

    + Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS and Azure) and architecture

    + Ability to manipulate and analyze data effectively, with a foundational understanding of scripting languages (e.g., Python)

    + Experience with data visualization tools and techniques (e.g., Power BI, Quicksight)

    + Ability to apply critical thinking to data challenges and proactively identify next steps

    + A passion for staying updated with the latest trends and industry advancements

    + Comfort in ambiguity and ability to navigate complex, undefined scenarios

    Business Acumen:

    + Ability to consult customer on alignment of outcomes and desired technical solutions at an enterprise level

    + Ability to Analyze, design, and develop a software solution roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state of the business.

    + Working knowledge of configuration choices and related cost implications; Experience with complex solution configurations.

    + Knowledgeable of full range of solution catalog within a business unit and able to discuss overall solution at depth.

    + Able to lead early stage customer interactions; Guide customers as they develop confidence and comfort with approaches, and integrate with their legacy tech investments.

    Leadership:

    + Demonstrated working knowledge of internal organization

    + Foresee obstacles, identify workarounds, leverage resources, rally teammates.

    + Demonstrated ability to work with and/or lead blended teams, including 3rd party partners and customer personnel.

    + Demonstrated Change Management /Acceleration capabilities

    + Strong interpersonal skills, including creativity and curiosity with ability to effectively communicate and influence across all organizational levels

    + Proven analytical and problem resolution skills

    + Ability to influence and build consensus with other Information Technology (IT) teams and leadership

    Additional Information for Candidates in US:

    The base pay range for this position is $110,700-$184,600 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on August 28th, 2025.
