    A co-op or internship with Peoples Gas offers hands-on experience in financial modeling, strategic analysis, and Power BI dashboard development. You’ll collaborate with Engineering, Sales, and Business Development teams to support real projects that drive business decisions—making it a powerful launchpad for your career!

    PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Generates financial results by modeling project inputs into all PGS business financial models. This requires coordination between Engineering, Sales & Marketing, and Business Development to ensure accurate financial modeling.

    + Assist with maintaining and enhancing PGS’s financial assumptions/processes and the deployment of models.

    + Gathers and maintains needed sources of information necessary to support modeling, analysis, Sales, and decision-making activities.

    + Prepare charts, graphs, presentations, and summaries as needed in support of project feasibilities and strategic business objectives.

    + Maintain and modify existing Power BI Dashboard used for project reporting

    + Assists with ad-hoc strategic analysis as needed

    WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

    + Current student in Business Analytics or Finance field of study

    + Excel basics (use of formulas, formatting)

    + Knowledge of PowerPoint

     

    WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE?

     

    + Advanced Excel (indexing, arrays, Pivot tables)

    + Knowledge of Organization and Process Improvement

    + Familiarity with Power BI and MySQL

    DETAILS:

    **Schedule** : 20hours/week, onsite

    **Onsite Location:** Midtown, 3600 Midtown Drive, Tampa, FL 33607

    **Note** : Housing and relocation assistance are not provided. This opportunity is best suited for students who are or will be local to the area.

    **Qualifications** : Currently enrolled in your 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of an undergraduate program, or a graduate program, at an ABET-accredited university or college. Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. A pre-employment drug screening, as well as a background check (including education, employment, criminal and motor vehicle) will also be conducted as part of the pre-employment screening. A physical may be conducted if required for the role
