About the Role

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly motivated **Project Engineer** to provide technical and leadership expertise across multi-disciplinary engineering teams in the aerospace sector. This role is pivotal in driving the successful execution of complex engineering projects—from proposal through delivery—ensuring alignment with customer expectations, technical requirements, and business goals.

What You’ll Do

+ Provide engineering leadership to cross-functional teams, including internal and external stakeholders

+ Develop and manage Statements of Work (SOW) for research, development, and production programs

+ Lead project execution, track performance metrics, and ensure timely delivery of milestones

+ Assess and negotiate changes to SOW, including impacts on cost, schedule, and deliverables

+ Plan and coordinate resources across the project lifecycle

+ Define and implement risk mitigation strategies and identify opportunities for improvement

+ Compare actual results to baseline plans to evaluate performance and capture lessons learned

+ Provide technical, business, and integration leadership for project and team plans

Required Qualifications

+ Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science

+ 3+ years of experience leading or managing multi-disciplinary engineering project teams

+ Experience with 3D modeling tools

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

+ Strong documentation and communication skills

+ **Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.**

+ **This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.**

Preferred Qualifications

+ Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

+ Experience with proposal development and contract negotiations

+ Familiarity with Export Compliance or International programs

+ Experience developing and tracking program plans, schedules, and budgets

+ Background in engineering project planning or project management

+ Experience supporting weapons systems or working directly with government customers

+ Proven ability to collaborate across functions and organizations

**Pay Details:** $65.45 per hour
