    **PDS Tech Commercial** is hiring a dedicated **Document Control Assistant** to support a critical documentation project onsite at our Deer Valley location. If you have a keen eye for detail, enjoy working with office equipment, and are comfortable navigating Windows environments, this is your opportunity to contribute meaningfully in a hands-on role.

    About the Role

    This position involves scanning microfiche documents using specialized equipment and software, ensuring accurate image capture and organization. You’ll play a vital role in digitizing legacy records, helping preserve and streamline access to essential data.

    Day-to-Day Responsibilities

    + Operate a microfiche scanner to capture images into designated folders on a PC

    + Ensure all images are properly scanned and saved

    + Adjust scanner settings as needed using provided guidelines

    + Monitor equipment functionality and troubleshoot issues using multiple approaches

    + Navigate, create, and manage folders within Windows 10/11 environments, both locally and on network shares

    Required Qualifications

    + 2–4 years of experience in a related role

    + Familiarity with scanner or similar office equipment

    + Ability to identify and resolve equipment issues independently

    + Proficiency in Windows 10/11 file management

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Associate’s degree or equivalent experience

    + Experience preparing or maintaining documentation related to systems or programming

    + Ability to work under general supervision with creativity and initiative

    This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).     **Pay Details:** $28.46 per hour
