    Description

    **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring experienced **Journeyman Plumbers** for projects located in **Greensboro, NC** . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is **up to $36/hour** based on experience and skill level.     Job Scope:

    + Perform installation, maintenance, alterations, and repairs of commercial water, gas, drain, sewer, and storm line systems.

    + Install, repair, and replace plumbing fixtures across campus buildings.

    + Conduct service work including unclogging drains, replacing pipes, and performing general plumbing maintenance.

    + Comply with state and local plumbing codes to ensure safety and reliability.

    + Prepare and plan work orders; conduct field inspections and determine repair vs. replacement needs.

    + Operate and maintain campus sewer and underground storm line systems.

    + Review and approve shop drawings for accuracy; inspect contractor work for compliance.

    + Conduct testing (destructive and non-destructive) to diagnose plumbing issues.

    + Participate in planning and review of facility modifications, upgrades, and new construction projects.

    + Maintain records and establish a database for plumbing systems and equipment for future use.

    + Collaborate with Facilities supervisors to schedule work with minimal disruption to building occupants.

    Requirements:

    + Valid NC state Plumber’s License.

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + Demonstrated plumbing skills and competency to perform the required work.

    + Experience in related trades may substitute for formal education on a year-for-year basis.

    + Strong knowledge of state and local plumbing codes.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a facilities team.
