Chevron is accepting online applications for the position **Finance AI, Machine Learning and Forecasting Sr. Analyst** through **October 10th, 2025,** at **11:59 p.m.** ( **PST** ).
Champions the development, implementation, and optimization of advanced forecasting models and machine learning solutions to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial planning and decision-making processes. Stewards’ AI technologies across the finance function to automate processes, enhance decision-making, and optimize overall financial operations.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design ML and AI-driven tools and solutions that integrate seamlessly into financial processes, delivering actionable insights and improvements in decision-making
+ Innovate and deliver ML and AI-driven financial products that meet user needs, improve operational efficiency, and contribute to business success
+ Develop solutions that improve financial forecasting accuracy, efficiency, and agility, delivering actionable insights for strategic decision-making
+ Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps for ML and AI-based solutions, aligning with the organization’s long-term digital finance goals and evolving finance needs
+ Lead change management efforts to educate finance teams and other stakeholders on the value, capabilities, and features of new AI/ML technologies, driving adoption and maximizing commercial benefits
+ Monitor and integrate emerging trends and regulatory requirements into the product strategy, e.g., responsible AI in the workplace, ML Ops
Required Qualifications
+ B.S. Finance, Business and Computer Science related degrees.
+ Knowledge of ML and AI fundamentals, including design, configuration, support, and programming. Experience with deploying scalable and repeatable modelling solutions.
+ Strong technical/analytical skills, with a proven record of innovative problem solving and proactive system improvement.
+ Foundational understanding of Finance and Accounting processes, reports and workflows. Ability to connect Financial outcomes through data and forecasting methods.

+ Articulates clear visions & aligns multiple teams around a shared vision; ensures their team has the confidence and tools to make decisions in the face of ambiguity.
+ MBA or Master’s degree in Data Science, applied mathematics or other relevant fields.
+ Stays up to date on critical industry trends, contributes to thought leadership in key areas. Questions existing assumptions/practices, encourages team members to take risks and learn from mistakes.
+ Aligns strategies with organizational goals, manages cross-departmental impacts or dependencies of decisions with key stakeholders.
+ Mentor product teams and facilitate knowledge sharing on AI and machine learning advancements, empowering stakeholders to fully leverage new forecasting capabilities.
