Chevron is accepting online applications for the position **Retail Business Consultant** through **October 13th** at **11:59 p.m.**
The Retail Business Consultant role is a dynamic field sales position, managing Chevron's branded fuels business with our RORO (retailer owned, retailer operated) customers. This is a remote job based from home in the SF Bay Area, with occasional office visits for team meetings and ongoing territory visits to meet existing and prospective customers.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounts in a specific geographic area, achieving key financial targets (NOI, Volume & Opex), and developing a new growth plan for the assigned territory. You will need to understand the financial drivers of retailers' business operations and provide site and account-level consulting to drive same-station sales and maximize station profitability. You will manage the execution of all retail programs, fuels, and marketing to meet all brand, image, and service standards, ensuring compliance with Chevron branded agreements. You will also solicit new business, develop branding offers for new sites, and create retention deals for existing sites within the area. Additionally, you will use Salesforce to manage all leads and opportunities and develop and execute a "Strategic Network Plan" for your assigned territory, including annual business planning.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (business, accounting, finance, or a related science)
- 5 years of experience in commercial sales-related roles
- Demonstrated ability to build and grow constructive relationships with customers and key stakeholders
- Effective communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
**-** Experience in fuels sales and marketing
- Demonstrated understanding of fuel supply chains, and commercial understanding of fuels markets

+ The anticipated salary range for this position is **$88,900 – $152,500.** The selected candidate’s compensation will be determined based on their skills, experience, and qualifications.
