Overview

The mission of Helio Health, Inc. is to promote recovery from the effects of substance use and mental health disorders and other health issues. To support the mission of Helio Health, theData Analytics and Decision Support Specialist II enhances Helio Health's efforts to gather, analyze and report on important program metrics to provide continuous options for organizational growth.

Pay Range:$68,000 - $80,000 per year

Working Relationships:

+ Reports directly to the Vice President of Digital Strategy. Takes direction from the Chief Information Officer, Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer and other Chief Officers as appropriate.

+ Works directly with the Division Directors, Service Directors, and other program staff to ensure data-related needs are met in an efficient, effective manner.

+ Provides support to the Health Information Technology, Continuous Quality Improvement, Compliance, and Grant Writing departments regarding any analysis needs.

+ Works with external community partners.

Responsibilities

+ Gather and analyze data to meet regulatory and program needs (GARF, CCBHC, internal reporting).

+ Validate data and reports from the electronic health records, ensuring the results being conveyed are clear, accurate, and valid.

+ Complete advanced reporting/analytics and derive insights to drive business decisions and operations.

+ Maintain, update and provide technical support for existing reports, dashboards, or other tools.

+ Assist with coding HEDIS/CMS metrics and make results accessible to support decision making.

+ Utilize business intelligence software to display data in a concise and accessible manner.

+ Disseminate information to staff on business intelligence software as needed and directed.

+ Executes processes established by Data Analytics and Decision Support Specialist II and the Data Analytics and Decision Support Director.

+ Attend Data Governance Workgroup meetings.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

+ Bachelor's Degree required. Master's degree preferred.

+ At least two years of experience in Data Analysis required.

+ An equivalent combination of skills, education, and experience may be substituted for the education and experience requirements.

+ Proficiency in SQL required.

+ Experience with at least one business intelligence tool such as Crystal Reports or Power Bl.

+ Mastery of computer applications including Excel, Power Point, and Word.

+ Proficiency with Office 365 tools such as SharePoint and Power Automate is preferred.

+ Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, specifically communicating technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.

Salary and hourly compensation ranges are provided in accordance with NYS law and are based on Helio Health's good faith belief of what is accurate at the time of posting. Salary and hourly compensation offers are based on candidate's education level and experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager and program.
