    Job Summary

    We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Field Office Team Member to support the operational and property accountability functions of our government contracting field office. This role is critical to maintaining compliance with federal regulations, managing government-furnished and contractor-acquired property, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in a dynamic field environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a high level of ownership in managing assets and supporting field activities.

     

    Roles and Responsibilities

     

    + Coordinate daily field office operations in alignment with contract requirements and agency standards

    + Provide administrative support, including scheduling, document preparation, and internal reporting

    + Assist with logistics such as personnel movement, supply chain coordination, and vendor engagement

    + Serve as a liaison between field teams, contracting officers, and prime/subcontractors

    + Conduct routine physical inventories and reconcile discrepancies using approved asset tracking systems (e.g., ELMS, GCSS-ARMY, AESIP, LMP)

    + Ensure proper tagging, labeling, and documentation of all accountable assets

    + Coordinate asset transfers, disposals, and acquisitions in accordance with contract clauses and agency guidelines

    + Prepare and submit property reports, loss/damage claims, and audit documentation as required

    + Support internal and external audits, including DCMA and DCAA reviews

    + Ensure adherence to contract terms, property clauses, and applicable federal regulations

    + Participate in planning meetings, performance reviews, and field briefings

    + Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement

    Basic Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor’s degree preferred)

    + 2+ years of experience in property accountability, logistics, or field operations within a government environment

    + Ability to travel and work in field conditions as required.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

    + Familiarity with federal property management systems (ELMS, GCSS-ARMY, AESIP, and LMP)

    + 3+ years of experience in property accountability, field operations, or logistics within a government environment

    + Experience with asset tracking/ property management systems (ELMS, GCSS-ARMY, AESIP, and LMP)

    + Government security clearance (active or eligible), depending on contract requirements

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and asset tracking software

    + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

    + Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

    + Ability to travel and work in field conditions as required.
