As Associate Legal Specialist, you will support our corporate governance and compliance functions by managing data, coordinating regulatory filings, and maintaining governance documentation. Provide project support, help maintain reports and dashboards, and contribute to effective legal operations. You will report to our Vice President & Chief Counsel of Corporate Governance and Securities.
Your Impact:
+ Data Management & Analysis:
+ Track and help analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for ethics and compliance, governance, and other legal department functions.
+ Collect, clean, and validate legal data from several internal and external systems.
+ Help identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
+ Support Data for Disclosure Obligations and Coordinate SEC Filings:
+ Help manage proxy statement related information including collection of data; preparation, dissemination, and review of annual D&O Questionnaires; and maintenance of biographies and other information.
+ Update and file proxy statements and other SEC filings including 8Ks in the SEC filing system using linked data from multiple sources including D&O Questionnaires.
+ Help prepare and file Section 16 filings (Forms 3,4 & 5) with the SEC using ownership data and related powers of attorney.
+ Help prepare support record for SEC filings.
+ Process and Project Management:
+ Help develop and maintain dashboards and reports related to legal compliance, risk management, and regulatory obligations.
+ Help maintain processes for ethics and compliance function data.
+ Maintain processes and calendar for SEC related filings and insider trading policy compliance including restricted lists and restricted persons communications.
+ Support calendar of deliverables for standing meetings from ethics and compliance and governance teams.
+ Special Projects:
+ Help with debt offerings including data collection and support for SEC filings.
+ Help with other transactions including document preparation.
Your Experience:
+ Bachelor's degree required in Business, English, History, Legal Studies, Political Science or a related field.
+ Exposure to corporate governance, SEC filings, compliance, and legal operations.
+ Proficiency in excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), Microsoft Forms, Word, PowerPoint, and Power Automate; familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) or legal tech platforms such as Legal Tracker.
+ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
+ Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Located in downtown Chicago along the Chicago River, our corporate headquarters is in the landmark Merchandise Mart building, with access to public transit and several options for dining and shopping in the area.

Compensation:
Pay Range:$59,000-$78,000
_The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees._
