Koniag Professional Services LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Task Lead-Discovery& Assessment to support KPS and our government customer. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust. This is a remote opportunity.

The Task Lead will be working remotely but will need to be onsite to support customer meetings, whiteboarding sessions, presentations to our customers and any in-person meetings as requested by our customer. They will interface and communicate with the technical team on a day-to-day basis as a primary POC for project activities and will report to the Program Manager.
Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
The ideal candidate should support the following functions:
+ Support the Program Manager to establish and manage a Change Control Board (CCB) to oversee, review, and approve all proposed changes to requirements, design, software, data models, and documentation.
+ Ensure that all CCB decisions are documented, communicated to stakeholders, and incorporated into project documentation.
+ Maintain a change log updated monthly, to be included with deliverables, reflecting all requests, approvals, rejections, and implementation status.
+ Coordinate with Government stakeholders to ensure change management decisions align with mission priorities, compliance obligations, and technical feasibility.
+ Provide guidance to the team on Requirements gathering techniques, Change Management, Risk Analysis, and Metrics Reporting.
+ Analyze various aspects of organizational functioning, including management, processes, structure, culture, and performance and support the team in delivering a “Current State” of the organization and support the delivery of the “Target State and Transition Roadmap”.
+ Assist in development and management of project schedules.
+ Orchestrate the development of performance metrics (KPIs) to assess and support a structured rollout of HRIT modules.
+ Attend and facilitate technical and non-technical meetings.
+ Review all deliverables from the team before they are finalized for delivery to the customer.
+ Provide oversight into product backlog in an agile environment.
+ Capture meeting minutes and hot topic items from meetings (as necessary) and ensure action items are completed by the team.
+ Assist with testing functionality of and interactions between enterprise systems from an end user perspective, when required.
+ Oversee target architecture definition and launch gap analysis, integrating market research and business case development to support HRIT consolidation.
+ Drive the design and development of a dashboard tailored to the operational needs of HRIT module execution.
Required Qualifications:
+ 4-year college degree
+ 7+ years overseeing technical and non-technical teams.
+ Experience supporting projects/programs related to application consolidation or legacy modernization is a plus and a key differentiator
+ Experience working in an HR environment or having functional knowledge of HR activities is a plus and a key differentiator
+ Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication
+ Strong coordination skills
+ Excellent client relationship skills
+ Solid Microsoft Office suite skills to include Visio, MS Project
