Description: Junior Engineer
The Junior Engineer will perform technical assignments which impact the design, manufacturing, test, calibration, repair, efficiency and or application of company products. Junior engineering serves as a foundational role that allows individuals to gain practical experience and develop their skills in engineering. The Junior Engineer will report to the Senior Engineer. This is an entry level role that will have no direct reports.
What you will be responsible for
+ **Technical Support** : assist in the design, validation, and testing of engineering projects, ensuring functionality and performance meet specifications.
+ **Collaboration:** work closely with senior engineers and other team members to support project goals and deliverables.
+ **Documentation** : Prepare Technical drawings, specifications, and reports to document project progress and outcomes.
+ **Data Collection** : Gather and analyze data from previous projects to support engineering and decisions and improvements. Research technical documentation Illustrated Parts Catalog, Component Maintenance Manuals, Aircraft Maintenance Manual, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Service Difficulty Reports, material specification, vendor catalogs in support of PMA developmental projects.
+ **Problem Solving:** Identify and report issues related to specific processes, assisting senior engineers in troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges.
+ **Organization** : Research technical documentation Illustrated Parts Catalog, Component Maintenance Manuals, Aircraft Maintenance Manual, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Service Difficulty Reports, material specification, vendor catalogs in support of PMA developmental projects.
Qualifications:
What you will need to be successful in this role:
**Education** : Must have a Bachelor of Arts degree (BA) or Bachelor of Science degree (BS) from a four-year college or university.
**Communication** : Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information clearly and effectively.
**Teamwork:** Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being capable of independent work when necessary,
