    Position Overview:

    Our Team Lead III is responsible for the daily production in their work cell/area. Provide problem solving, continuous improvement, first pass yield, schedule attainment, training, people development/coaching, and efficiencies. Ensure a safe and healthy environment is always maintained. They will work closely with team leaders, quality, continuous improvement, and engineering, materials, management, and production employees to support all areas of manufacturing.

    + Ensure that the health and safety of all employees remains the number one goal

    + Must be able to work well in a team environment.

    + Must know all technical aspects of their respective area(s).

    + Responsible for mentoring and coaching for employees

    + Responsible for planning and updating the cross-training matrix and other routine reports/metrics

    + Plan daily labor assignments based on departmental needs

    + Drive accountability to the desired metrics in their respective area(s)

    + Lead corrective actions for safety or quality audits

    + Provide first response to Equipment Parts issues/concerns

    + Work with team to ensure quality product and follow documented work instructions

    + Monitors and maintains 5S in their assigned areas

    + Fill in as back up for Supervisor absence

    + Ability to locate and use the HazCom labels and MSDS information

    + Work overtime as needed to complete daily tasks or projects

    + Perform other duties as assigned

    Required Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + Three (3) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment required.

    + 1-3 years’ experience in a Team Lead role

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

    + Must be a good listener with ability to guide (coach) others.

    + Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations required. OSHA certification preferred.

    + Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Must have a willingness to initiate and lead change.

    + Must be results driven.

    + Must have basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing

    + Ability to manage multiple products/projects/areas in a fast-paced environment.

    + Must have computer, math, and reading proficiency.

    + Must be able to read drawings and specifications

    + Self-starter and detail oriented preferred

     

    The anticipated pay range for this position is **_$24.00 - $30.00, hourly._** The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.

     

    At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.

    Physical Demands/Work Environment:

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently standing and lifting heavy objects weighing 50 to 100 pounds. The employee is constantly walking, pushing/pulling, reaching, and climbing stairs. The employee is occasionally squatting, kneeling, and using fine hand movements such as tightening screws, bolts, and securing pins. Specific vision requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. Environmental demands include working both indoors and outdoors and is seasonally exposed to extreme temperatures.
