NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Meditech EHR Consultant to join our team working 100% Remote on a W2 long-term contract on NTT Data's payroll.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced consultant to serve as a Specialist for the Meditech EHR platform, supporting both Client/Server and Magic environments. This role is critical in supporting system-level excellence, internal team coordination, and execution of initiatives tied to the Meditech platform. You’ll act as the primary internal SME for Meditech, ensuring we stay aligned with best practices, meet technical standards, and move projects forward efficiently. This is a high-visibility role requiring strong technical know-how, workflow understanding, and proactive engagement.
**Responsibilities** :
• Serve as the primary internal subject matter expert for the Meditech EHR platform (Client/Server and Magic).
o Act as the point person for questions regarding EHR capabilities, project resourcing, and domain-specific system knowledge.
o Guide stakeholders in understanding system limitations, workflows, and how changes may impact operations across domains
• Leverage your technical background to collaborate with IT, clinical informatics, and vendor teams on system-related work.
• Demonstrate a strong technical understanding of Meditech infrastructure, system build, configuration, and workflows.
• Maintain a working knowledge of Iatric interfaces and applications operating within or adjacent to Meditech.
• Collaborate with the Meditech vendor and our Managed Services Provider (MSP) to plan and schedule platform updates.
• Participate in and manage Meditech vendor engagement during projects to maintain on-premise infrastructure and ensure continuity.
• Demonstrate comfort and competency when interacting with infrastructure and networking teams.
• Lead discovery efforts for Meditech acute care projects, including scope definition and documentation of complete functional and technical requirements.
• Support divestiture activities, including the completion of divestiture workbooks for Meditech and Meditech-adjacent applications.
• Collaborate with solution architects to ensure all technical assessments for Meditech are current and complete.
• Own the vendor relationship for the Meditech acute care EHR, including point-of-contact responsibilities and direct engagement.
• Actively participate in contract-related processes, including purchase order (PO) submission and voucher approvals.
• Exhibit proactive behavior, self-direction, and excellent communication skills in both verbal and written formats.
• Serve as an exceptional problem solver, able to work independently in a complex and evolving environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience supporting Meditech Client/Server and/or Magic platforms in an acute care setting.
• 3+ years of technical foundation with the ability to understand and manage EHR infrastructure and integrations.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with Iatric interfaces and Meditech-adjacent systems.
• Experience coordinating with clinical informatics, infrastructure, MSP, or hosting partners.
• Experience supporting clinical workflows within Meditech is a plus
• Familiarity with healthcare IT project lifecycles, upgrade coordination, and system change management.
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity with a self-starter mindset.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is 60.00-63.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
