About us:
Product teams at U.S. Bank are accountable for the delivery of product outcomes. Product outcomes are a combination of delivering business value features, and creating a technology system that is easily maintained and highly reliable. Product teams have one shared backlog that is inclusive of all products, technology and design work.
As a Lead Product Owner, you will work in the product model and will partner to develop a comprehensive product strategy, forward thinking vision, related roadmap, and set key business objectives (OKRs) for your respective product. You will need to leverage the knowledge of your product, marketplace and competitor insights, customer feedback and establish other relevant data points (Business, Economical) to assess value, develop cases, and prioritize the direction and desired outcomes for your product.
Our Payments data solutions and services include a range of mechanisms, including but not limited to: ACH, Wire Transfers, Internal Transfers, Instant Payments, BillPay, Debit Cards, Credit Cards, and P2P (Zelle). Our products span U.S. Bank’s legal entities as well as lines of business a range of channels.
You will be the “voice of the product” to all outside stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met, and that the product team is getting the leadership and support that it needs to be successful. You will develop strategic communication plans that allow you to keep your stakeholders and clients informed and support escalation and rapid removal of roadblocks. You will need to cultivate strong relationships across the enterprise to drive collaboration and alignment with key partners and stakeholders across pyramids. You will be highly aligned with relevant enterprise product teams, developing, sharing, or adopting as appropriate similar standards, tools, best practices. You will work to identify cross product pollination opportunities that create incremental value for U.S. Bank ensuring alignment of objective in roadmaps and OKRs.
You will develop and actively maintain a product roadmap outlining prioritization for the customer themes, technical needs, and design challenges to be delivered and you will be accountable to make final decisions on scope and prioritization relative to the product backlog. You will be accountable to create and manage product objectives and key results, key metrics for your product, as well as related P&L impacts.
You will oversee progress against product backlogs to ensure work and priorities are in line with the product strategy while prioritizing themes, epics, and stories, to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with the product strategy.

Key Responsibilities
+ Own the product roadmap for the Money Movement application, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business value.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, define use cases, and drive alignment.
+ Manage and support application configuration, business process optimization, and continuous system improvements.
+ Lead the development and maintenance of reports and dashboards, enabling data-driven decision-making across customer categories.
+ Identify opportunities for automation, improved workflows, and better user experience.
+ Act as the product evangelist, driving adoption, training, and change management.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Six to eight years of statistical and/or data analytics experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Working knowledge of analytics and statistical software such as SQL, R, Python, Excel, Hadoop, SAS, SPSS, Geo-spatial tools and others to perform analysis and interpret data
- Experience in analytics, advanced analytics/statistics, predictive modeling
- Strong analytic skills with the ability to extract, collect, organize, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $119,765.00 - $140,900.00
