    About the Role:

    As a full-time CBRE Mobile Engineer, you will work Monday through Friday, during the first shift, supporting the client HCA Richmond. Your primary responsibilities will encompass preventive maintenance and corrective repairs across buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment, and grounds.

     

    This role falls under the Engineering and Technical Services job function, where you will provide essential support, preventive maintenance, and repair services for various equipment and systems.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Lead all aspects of facility maintenance, including mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems.

    + Review work orders, estimate resource needs (time & materials), and maintain inventory.

    + Implement and oversee preventive maintenance programs to extend the life of building systems.

    + Conduct and review inspections of building systems (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) to ensure operational efficiency and consistency to standards.

    + Ensure adherence to all relevant codes, regulations, and safety directives.

    + Operate company vehicles as required.

    + Utilize in-depth technical knowledge to address complex issues and provide innovative solutions.

    + Coach others, share expertise, lead by example, build consensus, and influence outcomes across teams.

    What You’ll Need:

    + High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma or equivalent experience with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Universal CFC certification and Valid Driver’s license required. Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.

    + Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

    + Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

    + Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.

    + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

    + Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.

    CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Mobile Engineer position is $25.00 per hour and the maximum salary for the Mobile Engineer position is $30.00 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
