    2nd Shift - Mon-Thurs 3:30pm - 2:00am some OT on FRIs or SATs

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws. Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

    + Pick and Place

    + Soldering Irons

    + Hand Solder

    + ESD

    + Assembly Drawings

    + Electronic Devices

    + Circuit Cards

    + Surface Mount Technology

    + Circuit Board Assembler requirements:

    + + Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics

    + Experience with soldering and other assembly processes

    + Prior experience in circuit board assembly and Pick and Place

    + Must be able to sit at a microscope for extended periods.

    + Must be able to work closely with designers, engineers and technicians.

    SKILL THAT ARE A PLUS

    + Knowledge of testing and troubleshooting electronic components a plus

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + Must be able to read/write English

    + Must take and pass a medical exam as outlined in the supplier guide.

     

    Shift hours are Mon-Thurs 3:30-2:00 AM
